The swimming pool of the Antico Borgo de' Romolini, 14m x 7m, offers the chance of a swim from May to September.
Amongst the other facilities at guests' disposal are the laundry room, bikes, barbecues and the experience of cooking pizzas and bread in the antique wood oven.
There is the possibility of walking on the plain along the country paths between Tuscany and Umbria up to the bank of the Tiber, and also along the river.
For keen cyclists there are bikes available both for gentle rides in the countryside or for the more adventurous there are mountain bikes for hill trails. Guided excursions both for trekking and cycling are possible.
Nearby it is possible to go horse riding, go "no-kill" fishing, attend a partnered gym with health farm or canoe and windsurf on Lake Montedoglio close by.
Spas can be found 5 Km away, along with a 9 hole golf course, and the sea is only an hour away.
In autumn excursions are organised for the chestnut and mushrooms harvest in the nearby chestnut woods.
